Um, dude. The RSX-S is not super charged.
And, street racing is for idiots. Don't be an idiot.

RE: 2005 Acura RSX Type S
Hi? My name is devin and i love street racing the car i want is the rsx-type-s but can't find one every since i seen that car i was hooked on it the moment i seen it. The type-s is the best one cause it's super charge and you can mod it to the limits without having to rip stuff out of it the regular one is boring cause you have to rip stuff out of it to make it go fast and that's what i don't want. If you guy's can help me and tell me where can i find one that will be great thanks.
1. RSX -S isn't supercharged
2. Type S is pretty godly but no matter what car you're looking at, you're going to have to "rip" things out. Hence the word Modding.
3. Street Racing isn't safe what so ever. I don't recommend you endanger other lives because you're not mature enough for this car.
4. If you really want it, they aren't hard to find. At all. Try Ebay, Craigslist, Autotrader, Hell, Try ClubRSX.com even too.

o.k devin i'm just gonna assume your only young. So i will not rip u apart like everyone else. more teach you something. every car needs to lose weight . the lighter your car is the easier it will pick up speed. 2nd the type s is quicker not because a super charger. but because it comes with a different engine . base models have a k20a1 with a 5 speed tranny. 160 hp .type s comes with the k20a3 with a 6 speed tranny. 220hp. devin i suggest researching a lil more before u buy a car or atleast your dream car. don't get me wrong the rsx is a nice ride.As for street racing it's stupid. i know your buddies think your cool when u rip around your town or city. But when you hit and kill some one r they gonna take the blame.R they gonna be the ones explaining what happened

I think some of the numbers are off professor.
base - K20A3 - 155HP according to last SAE rating
type S - K20A2 - 201HP also
type R - K20A - 220HP according to what most say.
your car - K20A3.
youngness and what you drive are different from ignorance.
I'm 16 with my mom's old RL, but I'm not ignorant.

RE: 2005 Acura RSX Type S
You are applying two different standards. The ASE standards changed in 2006, and the Type R uses a different measurement that was applied prior to 2006.

UPS tried to deliver my intake today, probably won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow, not sure when I'll do an install but if anyone wants a DIY I could probably take pics and write it up. SRI install is pretty straight forward though.

Good point, I'll take pics, though if I'm doing the install outside (I don't have a garage) I might not, if I can secure my buddy's garage for an hour then I will take pics.

OG Status!
First post in the RSX forum, I feel special
Anyway, I have a 2005 Acura RSX Type S, and glad to be a member of this forum.
I am looking to do some upgrades like intake, exhaust, suspension, and wheels.
What do you guys recommend? What are some of the best brands? Do brands really matter much anymore?
Thanks in advance.
Well I know this might be alittle late but I just joined
If your looking for an exhaust that has a low tone when driving normal but sounds mean when you use VTech then you might want to consider the GReddy EVO 2 exhaust. I have that exhaust installed on my car and man I love it.

RE: 2005 Acura RSX Type S
I'm debating on buying that this week and cleaning out my bank account or waiting a week or two to get my funds back up... I've probably listened to every exhaust they make for the RSX through videos on youtube, and despite the variance in sound quality, the Evo2 always sounded good.

RE: 2005 Acura RSX Type S
2 guys from Miami, yeeh!
ok, intake, I'd go CRSX edition injen CAI and get that 25$ hydroshield, comes to 280$ total.
I dont know how reputable Megan is, and have herd that they are not good from AcuraWorld. it was about exhausts, and one member said that their clamps are bad and that Megan is crap.
so before I heard that, I was lookin at their drift spec exhaust, and their 2" lowering springs that are orange. perhaps they are not so good, its not surprising that they are the cheapest in each category.
for wheels, your choice, look on clubRSX. depends on your color, however if silver, or maybe even black, definetly Aspecs OEM. keep it 17"
oh, by the way, this all comes from a RL owner
clubrsx blows..

^^They must not like you on CRSX.
I just know the truth behind Chris. I proved someone a lier while everyone was believing him. He kept deleting my proof because he was part of the deception, so i told him to go f himself. plus i never liked him from the start, besides i hate liers and dishonest people, that probably has something to do with it too.

RE: 2005 Acura RSX Type S
Oh, I guess it's something personal..I like that site for the info and marketplace.
It's not something personal, it's the truth. Chris Dye is the biggest crook know to the RSX community, it just so happens that he made his way to the top by deceiving everyone to believe that he is the Club President, rather than a scoundrel business man. He owns the name which everyone believes it to be the main place to be, wouldn't you believe the same?
If it was called Club Heaven on Earth, wouldn't you check it out?
I also like the site for the info, not the crooked marketplace though. It's well known that he has 100% positive feedback from the members. The members that haven't been deleted for having a problem with a sale he did, that is. I was scammed by him countless times, as did other locals. Some cities have had it so bad from him, that they started their own club, and completely boycott ClubRSX. I'm talking Phoenix AZ, and there are some in Cali as well.
It's bad, you just haven't been deleted yet. Don't worry though, when you get deleted he'll do you a favor and start posting under your username as if it were you, and no one else will know that you are a disgrace. What a favor, right. lol. Not just against freedom of speech, but also for stealing identities.

Not saying you're lying, just saying I've made several purchases from the CRSX store and never had a problem. Some useful members have benn banned for somewhat pointless reasons though.
I don't think it's such a bad idea to have a local clubrsx anyway, the midwest forum is the only one I frequent there anyway.

RE: 2005 Acura RSX Type S
What a total waste of time, talking about ClubRSX is like talking about ricers.
Here's a good nasty one for you:
http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10407
It completely incriminates CRSX. Here's some good points:
Moved to coffee shop
This morning I took the time to read the whole thing and I am actually suprised at a few things.
-That is kind of weird that fujita dropped Chris Dye's sponsoship.
-It is also weird to me that clubrsx openly admits editing people's posts.. Deleting a post can be excused for whatever reasons... but editing other people's posts is just wrong.. I don't think clubrsx and its administrators realize the importance of freedom of expression. I have deleted a few posts here and there mostly to keep threads in topic , but editing threads is just wrong... I mean.. does clubrsx really thing that they are going to loose sales over one post or some dude's signature?
Yea it is interesting...admins where editing trump's post and it said he changed it O_o. Makes me wonder what they really edit on the boards
I'm the one who pm'ed everyone at ClubRSX.com, they've restricted my account so I can't post, can't log in, or have any access (aka banned but making it look like I'm not banned and making all kinds of statements with my account there).
If you look at this thread:
http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=361389
Just so you guys know, I did not start that thread, and at the top of the thread, I did not write the following:
Just letting you guys know, GST2RSX-S was banned for advertising.
so I fixed the author. Here's the author openly admitting to editting the post (as Nikos stated):
ps I fixed your post.
Just wanted to make that clear, so no one thinks I'm two faced and confused.
After two years of ClubRSX pushing on K20a.org, and due to politics between the two websites, I was forced off of K20a.org.
ClubRSX has too much political power.
They control who sells what for what price, and does what for the K20/RSX comunity. If they don't like you, they'll push on the right people to get rid of you. It's politics, it's greed, it's a monopoly, it's ClubRSX.
Have a nice day.

My sentiments exactly. ClubRSX doesn't care how useful you are, if you become too intelligent (on K20's, RSX's, what goes on behind the scenes there), then you can one day become a threat. If you may possibly one day become a threat to them, then you are worth banning, and you get banned. It's pretty simple.

Not saying you're lying, just saying I've made several purchases from the CRSX store and never had a problem....
Don't worry, it will happen. You'll buy something, have a horrible experience, and then you'll feel the need to voice how you were dealt with. You'll say "hey I got ripped off, what gives, don't you guys care, did I slip through the cracks or something?"
Then, they'll take control of your account, edit it, and say, "I love ClubRSX, they hooked me up with a great product and a great price I couldn't find anywhere else, how do these guys possibly stay in business??? You guys must really care about the members. Ooooh, how I just love and adore this place. Where have I been all my life. All the best info, all the best products, all the best prices, and the largest servers that are provided free for us to use for the benefit of members. ClubRSX you rock!!! "
You'll ofcourse not have any access to your account, and when you try logging in, you'll have this beautiful pop up saying, "YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED. REASON: NO REASON, ENJOY."
