ThumbUp  87 KA2 5 Speed

Here's my 87 5 speed Sedan...

Really the only JDM'ish stuff I've got are the clear corners (SUPER hard to find for this chassis) tilt sunroof, and fogs...although the fogs were admittedly available USDM, but it was only in 86-88 hahaha...

Anyhow...here you go:

What I've got:

<Monocolor Paint Scheme>
<JDM Clear Corners>
<Cleared out Rear Turn Signals>
<Acura Caliper Grill Emblem>
<Independent Yellow Fog Mod>
<15% Tint>
<Iggee Seat Covers>
<EL Reverse Glow Gauges>
<Dimmer Mod>
<Ford Taurus Cupholder Mod>
<CC Tunk Light Mod>
<Fut Short Throw Shifter>
<Custom CAI>
<AEM Dryflow Filter>
<AEM Bypass Valve>
<OBX Headers>
<Magnaflow High Flow Cat>
<Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler>
<Drilled/Slotted Rotors>
<Painted Calipers>
<Axxis Metal Master Pads>
<Info Center LS Conversion>

RE: 87 KA2 5 Speed

I'd get rid of the funky steering wheel cover, but otherwise, she's damn clean.

Thanks man...

Meh I like the wrap cover....I think its better than just that cheap rubber that was there...either that or I should learn how to wrap leather lol

Thats the one thing I miss about my Legend steering wheel....the leather Sad

Nice whip son. Did you notice a difference with that OBX header? I see OBX stuff everywhere but don't know anyone with any of it installed.

OBX is sh!t....but I guess thats all that you Legend guys have available huh?

Dont take this the wrong way, but I think "good" headers are probably worth more than your car...So i guess you have to go with what you got huh?

probably worth more than a CB7... but then you get people who hook those up anyways way past what their car is worth...

i hate it when people make that kind of excuse... if that was the case no one would have any crazy builds... or crazy turbo setups... engine swaps... frankensteins... k-series... none of that would exist if everyone had that mentality.

to KBB it could be worth one thing... but to you.... there is no price... cheesy as it may sound... its all for the love of the game... no matter what the cost is.

Good to hear about OBX. I'll be sure to spread the word out to stay away from them. I just see them advertised a lot.

sam o nela, where did you get your car signature cartoon thing done at?

No offense taken...its all good...believe me man, I'm pretty sure that my ratio of "cost per mod:value of car" has been surpassed many times over allready...............

I agree with this 100%....

Yeah its no secret that OBX is definitely on the cheap side in some of their products...but when I got into the Legend game years ago, we had absolutely nothing in the way of mods. I mean we had lowering springs and an 80s-riffic Kaminari and Erebuni body kit. Thats it. Everything else had to be custom one-offs or homemade. The Headers were a big development for the community and I waited so many years for them that I would have bought them even if they had been made by Lego...and I gotta be honest, even cheapy headers > oem Big Grin

I made the little manga car myself....I just found the drawing of the car from the factory service manual, cleaned it up in photo shop, shrank it down and made it my own.

And all the others I didnt quote, thanks for all the compliments and suggestions!! ThumbUp
