Well it blows hot air but when I turn on the a/c the fan comes on but it just blows air. Not any cooler than the air outside. Any ideas?

Interlude told me in another thread that I should try a freon charge. Hard or easy? What exactly is it?? Lol

Easy as pie. Go to O'Reilly's and get the kit for $40. Then charge your friends for the work because you have the tools and they don't.

freon recharge would be the first thing i try
you have R134
walmart has a recharge kit for like 15$

if that doesn't work then you can start checking your system for leaks and such
but since im a lazy bastard that would be my second thing to try

Be careful with that crap...some of it might have a small amount of R-12 in it, and if you come to a dead stop, and decide to take it to a shop..they might completely turn away your car as even 1-2% of R-12 could damage the machine they use.

ive never ever seen one with r12 in it?

I got in the thread a little late. There are lots of things that can cause your ac not to work. I have seen lots of people come into my shop and they tried to charge it up and it already had the proper amount in it. It was some other issue that was causing the ac not to work. It might be best to consult a good repair facility, it should be around 30-40 dollars + refrigerant to check it out. Good luck!
