change in project

As most of you may know, im planning on doing the H2D swap to my fiance's 91 crx si. Well, for the past couple of days i have been thinking about doing something else to Project Red Rex. There's a company called STS (Squires Turbo Systems). They have remote mount turbo kits, but not for any hondas. I was thinking about selling my jdm h22a and using the money to go towards building a rear mounted turbo kit. Let me know if ya'll think i should stick with doing the H2D or if i should build my own turbo kit. yes = turbo no = h2d

RE: change in project

i've done the whole turbo bit but i've never gone into fabbing up my own kit. Well, so far it looks like i might sell my motor, but we'll see how this turns out within the next couple of days. btw, if i do go turbo, pretty much everything will be v band, because they are the shiznit!!

RE: change in project

I've seen a few write ups in magazines, and even on a TV show, about the STS turbo kits. Personally, i like the idea. Good sleeper to the unsuspecting. Maybe even throw the police off!

I've thought about it myself, cuz if done properly, you could have what looks like a regular ol header and CAI, but behold the "hidden" turbo!

Do it man! I would myself, but I'm soooo far from any turbo project at the moment.

Customer: Hey do you think we should change out the transmission fluid?
Mechanic: No, it still looks nice and pink.
Customer: Well, a pussy can look nice and pink and still give you AIDs.
Mechanic: Yea, we should probably go ahead and change it.

I voted no because whenever I hear "turbo" I get pissed off.
