Corvette Powered Civic

Check out this Corvette Powered Civic. It has a LS1, it's rear wheel drive, and he used a EK chassis to make it insane, since it's so lightweight. Imagine what this would do if it was turbocharged Smile

Let the videos speak for themselves:

RE: Corvette Powered Civic

Here's another video. From this angle, I can see it's a 96-98 Civic Hatch because of the headlights.

In this video, he punches it next to camera car, and man, does he take off. Kinda makes me want one Smile

Customer: Hey do you think we should change out the transmission fluid?
Mechanic: No, it still looks nice and pink.
Customer: Well, a pussy can look nice and pink and still give you AIDs.
Mechanic: Yea, we should probably go ahead and change it.

RE: Corvette Powered Civic

that is pretty interesting. they have a full corvette interior in that thing. that looks like some fab work and a half. i would lose my mind doing that. my favorite has got to be the 2JZ motors with the silvia rear ends in a S2K. But nice work here.

RE: Corvette Powered Civic

it looks so damn slow when it launches on the track but looks so fast when its on the highway. muscle cars are for wimps, they already come with so much hp, with just a little bolt on perfoemance then its quick. its not like import where you have to build it up slowly lol
sorry dudes, imports sticks with imports and muscle cars stick with itself. if you combine those 2 together it'll explode lol

sorry, but, wrong. THAT is the guy who put a civic body on a LS1 chassis. basically, it's not a build by any means. he had a civic with no engine, and a vette with rear end damage. so he dropped a civic shell over a corvette chassis, simple as that.

this is freakin badass. and no traction? is that why he spun his tires the whole way down the track? oh wait, he didn't, he barked 2nd gear it sounded like, and that was the little traction loss he experienced. RWD tracton ftmfw

well then redline9 is mistaken in his first post saying he used an EK chassis, b/c he didn't. he put the EK body on the corvette chassis.

Look at the red front bumper in his first post and the pics in the link I posted. I remember reading the whole thread where the guy did the swap a while back but I can't find the link anymore.

like I said, then reline9 is mistaken b/c his post he wrote EK chassis, which it is not on an EK chassis...and it's not a swap. he put the EK body over the corvette chassis, hence why he still has real good traction.
