my first EK (EJ8) project


i'm sorry people but this is my first time ever posting up a project .... so far as you can see i've just started the project

b18a block is at the machine shop right now getting bored 20over with new pistons and rods (eagle) .... will post pics and video of it
gsr head is also at the shop awaiting for me to pick it up. new valve springs, valve retainers, skunk2 camshafts ... will also post pics and vids of it
new interior carpet just came in just taking my time on putting it in

precision turbo, custom turbo manifold, and paint will be coming soon

Your Civic is not an EM1. It's an EJ. EM1s don't have D-Series motors.

Ok... But your Civic is still an EJ. Not an EK or EM1. It's the chassis code, not what motor is in the car that counts. Just trying to clarify.

i think those are mostly 'before' pictures
there were new black body panels at the end of the vid

yep .... i'm thinking properly tuned and dynoed hopefully about 10psi not too much ... don't really want to blow the motor.

but yes i know what you guys are trying to say ... its like a gsr wanting to be a type r

i was going to put that front bumper on but i realized that i'm going to order new factory 10mm factory screw like bolts .... i ran out ... so pretty much i've realized that the person installed my kit is never gonna see my car again because they did a half as job. i put the side skirt on to but its that when i tried taking pics of it, it blended in with the shadow so there was no telling that it was there so i didn't posted it up
