Yeah. I'm pointing you with my forefinger and thumb. lol j/k.

Probably the best quote IMO. "I do not have to justify, the way I live my life. And I do not have to justify, the reason I'm alive."

RE: recomendations?
If you're not worried about bass then why do you want a sub ?
Sounds to me like you need a good head unit with at least 4 volt pre-amp outputs. The more voltage the rca pre-amp outputs have the cleaner the signal to the amplifier will be. I recommend this one :
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130P6000UB/...ml?tp=5684

Then you'll need some good speakers. I recommend these for the front : http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/...rid/123284
Depending on what size your rear speakers are, get the same or similar speakers for the rear.

You'll need a nice 4 channel amp to drive the speakers. I recommend this one :

Some companies like to over rate their products.
Hifonics does not over rate. If they say it puts out 50 watts rms x4
then it's a REAL 50 watts rms.
Now, If you decide you want some bass. I'd recommend
getting a single 12" subwoofer. It will ad the extra kick your music needs, but won't drown you in bass. I recommend this one:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_136S112R33/...tml?tp=112
It comes in a box ready to go.
Now you'll need an amplifier to drive it. I'd say go with hifonics again
(for obvious reasons) This one would be a good match for the jl audio sub :

RE: recomendations?
DECKS: Everlasting and strong decks. Clarion is really good, i dont even need an amp for my 6.5 speakers. (my pioneer and alpine lasted me 13 years)
-Pioneer-
-Alpine-
-Clarion-

SPEAKERS:
-Alpine- (Type S; treble only / Type R; base & treble / Type X; base & treble, comes with tweets)
-Infiniti- (never had, but they sounded very clean.)
-Earthquakes- (Id say there tweets are pretty good)

AMPS:
-Kicker- (Makes great 6 Channel Amps / 2 channel amps are perfect)
-Alpine- (only good if running 1 sub though)
-Hifonics- (True power to your subs)

SUBS:
-Kicker- (Solobaric L7, perfect / 12 inch Competition sub works perfect for quality sound)
-Alpine- (12 inch Type R, its hard / want harder, 12 inch Type x, really all you need)
-JL Audio- (never heard them hit, but good reviews)
-Fosgates- (2 10inch subs could sound like 2 12inch subs, i kid you not, its crazy.)

EQ:
-Pioneer- (DEQ-9200 best eq ever made. lasted me 12 years. i miss it alot.)

CROSSOVERS:
-Kicker- (my freind said it works great)

If you care about sound quality scrap the idea of a 15". Go with a 10" much tighter and cleaner bass. Check the JL 10W3, 10W6 or 10W7.
