Project DD
Well its been over two years since this Prelude has seen anything close to being driven on the road, so i think its time to make something out of the car or atleast the motor...
The front end has pretty bad damage, still waiting to get some estimates. I had it at a body shop but the dude dicked off more than anything and played me for about 2.5 years. After i found out that some shit had been stolen off of it (aem v2 intake, oil cap, spark plug cover, emblems, vtec controler, shift light, & my Greddy exhaust was butchered), i was fed up and went and had it pulled away.
The begining...
After about 3-4 hours of tearing down the suspension (wrecked cars are no fun), i finally got to the point where i could remove the damn thing.
Removed the trans, clutch/flywheel mainly because transporting the motor w/ a hand truck is a bitch on an incline, so it made it a little easier on me.
After i Finish cleaning the motor up and replacing just about every seal on it (JDM seals Suck!!). I plan on either having the prelude repaired or buying either an accord 90-93 or maybe even another prelude. Looking for something very cheap (like a couple hundred $$ cheap)
As you can see the motor is deff. in need of some help. I believe the only time the car was touched at the body shop i had it at was to mow the lawn!... BASTARD!!
Thanks for looking, this is deff. just a start. Ordered some parts so more pics to come soon...

K24sc.... Id love to sleeve the block to start, from there just pistons and rods. Not sure on compression ratio right yet. Need to talk to builder but im thinking about 11.0-12.0, maybe... Plus the head work i want and Kpro. But $$$$ is an issue so things will move slower than i want.

Well back to the topic...
I Love New Parts!... Ordered some goods for the motor and they came in from password jdm. Since the original spark plug cover was stolen i decided id get the kevlar one and since im replacing all seals and gaskets i also ordered the passwrod IM plastic gasket. Also tore down the timing belt side and cleaned it up. Ill have those pics up tmr.
Im just waiting on the H23 tensioner and the rest of my seals to come in and ill start to assemble everything.

RE: Project DD
A little up date....
While ive been waiting for the new H23 tensioner and seals to come in so i can finally put this bastard together and really focus on finding somehting to put it in, i went ahead and installed the spare oil pan i had off of an old H23 i bought from Shane Regan years ago.
This is what running 70mph and hitting a curb looks like...
New one on with new gasket and of course Honda bond..
Couple shots of the timing side after a little cleaning... Still needs more to the block
Before..
After..

I don't blame you for hibernating when it's under a certain amount of degrees... It's hard to get things done outside when you can't feel your fingers. Or, in my case usually, my fingers are slightly numb, then I go and put a gash in one of them while working on something and I don't even know it until I see all the blood everywhere, lol.
Definitely keep updating this.

RE: Project DD
Couple updates.....
1) Hears some better pics of the car... somewhat LMAO
![[Image: DSCN0688.jpg]](http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj35/Cmqqn85/My%20Cars/90%20Accord/DSCN0688.jpg)
Some interior shots, needs help but not to shabby.
2) After making some room in my driveway saturday me and a couple buddies decided to tear the car down a little bit so i could prep the engine bay for the H22.
~Started off by removing the motor/trans. I sold the motor/trans/header that day to a fellow member here which was one of the guys helping me so we knocked it out fast.
![[Image: DSCN0696.jpg]](http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj35/Cmqqn85/My%20Cars/90%20Accord/DSCN0696.jpg)
Came home sunday from my girls and decided to start messing with the shifter assy/shift boot/ and short throw adapter off the prelude. Might as well put it to good use...
Prelude.

Thats it for now. Got a water pump coming in tmr. so hopefully ill get the motor together and in time before i leave for va beach saturday. Also im sending off the wiring harnesses to Ry-Wire in cali so i hope there turn around time is fast and im waiting for a set of innovative motor mounts to come in from Phantasm. Moved per request.
Good call on the recipient car. I've always had a special place in my heart for the early 90s Accords.
