To change the front end of a 1995 NSX to a 2005 do you have to do a lot of modifications?

RE: NSX
yes, a few modifications. Nothing major though. The areas of concern are the bumper part that meets the fender.

RE: NSX
you need a bumper, hood, headlights, headlight mounting brackets, and about a dozen small pieces you'll need to order from honda
you'll need to lengthen your light wires
the headlights will be too big for your car so youll have to shave in room for them but its no big deal
youll have to fiddle with fitment and such

just beware the headlights alone are almost 2 grand

RE: NSX
Sounds like a front end conversion of the 2nd Generation TL.

You can switch out everything from the doors forward to go from 99-01 --> 02-03 or vice versa
Fenders, hood, bumper, grill, lights. Nothing further needed.. everything bolts right up.
Same with like years of VW Golf and Jetta. They turn into Jolfs and Gettas.

RE: NSX
First off... whhhhwyhyhyhy???lol

2nd-if you convert over to the 2002 and newer headlight style, surprisingly your going to suffer from headlight shake when you update. yes its weird that the fixed ones have more shake then the flip up ones, and its worse when you add stiffer suspension etc.

3rd- why are you looking to change over? do you just want the headlight look,or do you want the full bumper look etc.

a. if you want just the headlights you can remove your old headlight assembly and replace them. here are two links

(seems likea better choice of the two)

(this thread just has an ebay headlight replacement you can buy. However they are different than the stock jdm 2002 above headlights, and people cantell, especially enthusiasts.)

4. do you just want teh stock bumperlook? or are you looking to buy an aftermarket bumper like taitec or something. if you want the aftermarket look, it is recommended not to do the full conversion,as you will be replacing bumper. but do buy the aftermarket bumper, and have a goodd body shop cut and fit it to match and all that.

Go to this link and choose your poison!!!

mind you this is not cheap, however, it is the most complete set and best bang for the buck.

If anything, i would do a rear update, and also do a na2 exhaust and header change and free up some horses!
here is a link of how to fix the bouncing in the 2002 above headlights.

Need any other help with an nsx just ask. they are pretty much my wet dream no lie. goodluck!
