Incident in UK
Last time I was in UK, I saw this nice 4th gen on the street and decided to take some pictures of the exterior so I can post them later on the forums. The battery in the camera was almost dead but I was gonna give it a shot. I set up to take the photo and guess what?...some dudes crossed the street right in front of me as I took the pic! wtf? They didn't say anything and kept walking like they didn't even see me there. Rude bastards!

This is the only pic I was able to take. My camera battery died right after that. Sad

RE: Incident in UK
Haha

I am working on this project where I need to incorporate a piece of classic history and a piece of modern history together. This is the Beatles album cover from Abbey Road. One of the most recognizable images in rock music history. Originally there was and old school VW Beetle in the same spot where I placed the Prelude.

I need some suggestions. What I can do to improve the image? Does the Prelude stick out too much?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

lol awesome Dan

I'd say the lude needs to be a little more grainy to flow with the rest of the picture.

Moni, don't tell me you don't know the story on this picture...

This is the album cover for Abbey Road by The Beatles, of course with some changes provided to us by the good sir Dan.

The VW in the original picture has "28IF" on the license plate because some people had started a rumor that Paul McCartney had died. Paul McCartney is the one who is barefoot. He was 28 when they took this picture. They used to not put shoes on dead people.

John Lennon is heading it all up with his huge lion mane and white tux as the preacher.

George Harrison is the undertaker in his simple black suit.

Paul is dead.

And Ringo Starr is the grave digger.

Seriously, Moni, please tell me you know that story...

On topic: Yeah, the shadow needs to be put on the car, needs to be more grainy, lower the passneger side of the car, and put the VW license plate on the 'lude.

RE: Incident in UK
awesome advice guys! Thanks! I will make it look like it is more in the shade and make it grainier, oh and the license plate! how could I forget? ThumbUp Those are definitely awesome pointers!

The VW was halfway parked on the curb, I did the same with the prelude. In UK there are some parking rules where a car needs to have one side on the curb. Do you think I should still make it look like it's just parked normally?

Yeah I know, but only one side has to be parked on the curb in UK. I don't know if their rules are still like that, but if you look at the white car in the distance behind the Prelude, it is parked halfway on the curb. The VW was also parked on the curb.

nmm I'm confused.

Probably the best quote IMO. "I do not have to justify, the way I live my life. And I do not have to justify, the reason I'm alive."

I already did. lol.

I will edit the Beatles/Prelude pic and re-post it soon. I need to find a good noise filter because the oem filters on Photoshop are kind of whack.

RE: Incident in UK
It looks pretty good but sounds like all the suggestions have been taken. I think i would just park it normaly so that it doesn't stand out TOO much and then the license plate, shade from the tree, and more grain you should be set.
