Well if I remove mine, the battery tray thing is still welded to the frame and it's like teal or something becaue that's what color my car used to be.

well unless someone welded it in then the tray should be held in by bolts at the bottom of the tray. mine where covered in dirt and cr*p.

Haha I know. You should have seen the crap I had to go through to remove my a/c from the firwall with it still there.lol The bolts are missing and it is welded now. Stupid people. But I'll probably just bust them off whenever I decide to do it.

Holy Balls! That looks like a mess. I need to put a new 2nd gear synchro on. How hard do you think it would be for a first timer?

this was actually my first time splitting a trany casing. it is easier then people make it out to be. you might need some help from a shop so be prepared for some extra costs.

as you can see some very bad things can be found when you split the casing

here is the thread i used as a 2nd bible with my haynes manual

I've heard a bunch of different reasons. Cleanin up the engine bay; Closer to audio system; better weight distribution.

it may seem a little complicated but its really simple if you take your time

well thayne is right its to free up space under the hood and for better weight distrobution (for auto x).

Only place that is affected by the extra sunlight is the gun range. In summer they stay open til the sun goes down... Which is awesome for someone like me who likes to shoot his .45 whenever he can

I was just looking at your pics again and i hope you plan on wash/painting it once your done cuz the CF kinda looks out of place cuz its so nice and everything else is dirty and what not.

Ohh idk if you have noticed but there is SOO much CF stuff you can get for the Sol. Personally i only like the CF hood but i have also kinda grown a liking for the CF door sill covers. I think it would look pretty sexy.

But no joke. here is the list of what i have found
-CF Front lip.
-CF Hood.
-CF Cardinals (kinda universal).
-CF Targa top.
-CF Door sills.
-CF Door handles.
-CF style boot/shift knob.
-CF Third brake light/side strut things (you get the point).
-CF Gas tank lid.
-CF Trunk lid.
-CF License plate garnish.

ANND im pretty sure thats it. at least that is everything i have found for it.
