first off im writing this to u guys in tears...
im so frustrated with my baby but im never giving up
so gonna put the new cat on the o2 sensor is sticking up literally ribbing up against the floor board .. so we cut a hole out just so it will have clearance.
oh w/e its on i go to start it ... it doesnt start... by the way i had put a new computer in my car since the other computer was messed up.. so jump the car and it starts i go down the block the engine check light comes on for P0135 dealing with the computer again so then the SRS light comes on. my headlights arent shining as bright like they should be so were coming up close to my house its fuckin chuggin i mean this is not like my baby. and the last speed bump thats a few houses to my house my baby dies so we just coast to in front of my house. we go to jump it again just to get it in the driveway it works. idk if my battery is useless now. but also something was burning while i was driving. idk what to do im so torn on this my parents are wanting me to get rid of it but im never goin to. so please anyone who can help me please i would be so thankful

between that code, your srs light, and burning it sounds like something wiring wise has gone horribly wrong

what have you rewired in that car?

check it all again.
and did you smell something burning? and from where?

ok we got the burning smell down its the tape from the o2 sensor on the cat. since the wires were exposed
idk the battery could be an issues but for a battery problem to mess up my timing idk probably since it was dying but ughhh

ok tomorrow im gonna put up a video so u guys can hear everything im charging the battery as we speak for tonight but uhhh lets see then im gonna put my old cat back on
and see if the ecu is still being retarded i really dont want it to be the ecu because i just got it

wait whats wrong with your ecu?

you threw a wiring code right after changing your o2 sensor and finding burning electrical tape. it sounds purely wiring related

no it was dealing with my ecu that code my computer was fried because i had put a universal on =[

ok maybe wiring true
but idk the battery dying on me twice
putting on new o2 sensors and cat
maybe o2 sensors short umm
it could be different shit but ill look into the ecu wiring furrsure
its just ive gotta get my car to smog and registered by the end of august or its gonna be registered as non operational =[

what happened is that she replaced her o2 sensor and her ecu. she originally had a "universal ecu" in there and the car started to bog out and eventually died durring the test run.

i dont think its the wiring because it was working before the new install. unless its the wiring around the ecu?

well when we put in the new ecu it was fine but we never took it out to drive around

see thats what im thinking
maybe a wire got pulled and exposed and shorted
i mean this is the code she's throwing:
* O2 Heater element resistance is high
* Internal short or open in the heater element
* O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
* open or short to ground in the wiring harness
which is all wiring and o2 related
anytime ive delt with an srs light it has been wiring related as well so that just adds to it

ok whats goin down today is... the battery is charged well its got alittle more to go but i think part of the reason why my battery died was because it has been sitting for sometime and with the heat the water in the battery probably evaporated. ok so my cat converter.. we cut a hole to relocate the o2 sensor so it will have plenty of room. im gonna put on my cat later today when my battery is charged so... fingers crossed u guys. i think it was just a combination of things that were goin on last night so new start today
