RE: ideas about turbo for rsx-s
Would you rather wait, save the money and spend 3-4k for a proper turbo kit... or would you rather spend $800 on this cheap ebay knock off and then have to pay to fix your engine after you blow it up? I can tell you from personal experience, replacing a bent connecting rod and the block runs in the $6,500 neighborhood.
Save yourself the trouble, get the GReddy kit.
P.S. the fact that it doesn't mention Type S should throw a red flag... but the Si and the Type S essentially have the same engine.

Why Greddy? Personally, I would go with the Full-Race kit.

Save yourself from being a dynoqueen and get a JRSC.

RE: ideas about turbo for rsx-s
I've actually been thinking about trying one of these kits on my B16. No way in hell i'd test it on my RSX-S. a 1200-1500 B block is much cheaper to replace than a K block.

peice it together. be selective about it. certain brands may make some good and some bad parts. choose from them. that way you could go at your own pace rather than dump a couple g's at one time. and NO, DO NOT get an ebay kit.

I just said Greddy because it's a complete kit, comparable to the Ebay one but with quality.
I'd go supercharger over turbo. Though I love turbo, with the hi-revving k-series and FWD it can't be used to its full potential without seriously race upgrading everything.

For 800-900 it seemed worth a try.

Running 5psi you don't have to upgrade. 9-11psi which i plan to run involves a bit more.

Meh, I should be good with 300whp without upgrading anything major. More then 320, I'll see problems with the block, 'specially the rod bolts.

As it sits right now, alot of people I've heard that pieced their own kit, cost just as much, if not more, then the kit.

Stock block with no boost or nitrious, impossible. Best you can do with bolt on's is 220-230whp.

So it was already done and you're saying impossible?
Of course, launching will be addressed whenever I get more serious into this.
