This video shows you the basic techniques of mig welding. I thought it was pretty interesting for those of you who are just starting to weld, or for those of you who are interested in finding out how to weld.

MIG welding is pretty easy, and comes in handy lots of times. Didn't someone on here have a rusted hole in their muffler they needed to weld shut?

That's a great video. I took shop in High School but I think I learned more about welding from that video than my instructor.

at my school i went to we had an awesome welding/fab shop class!

TIG FTW

MIG is good for fixes on exhaust, but is porous and will still leak a lil deff best for startoing out though
STICK is great for structural welds such as on buildings in joints and such

and TIG is great because there is no mess, its extremely strong, and you can weld almost any metal!

Yeah, when I went through Auto Collision Repair, we learned how to weld..never was good at it.
